Does anyone know what these connections are for?

This is only a guess, but it kinda looks like connections for windlass foot switches. BUT, you can find out for sure by checking your manual (download if you don't have your paper copy). Sea Ray does an EXCELLENT job of providing detailed wiring schematics. Use the location, color and code on the wires to compare to what's in the manual.

Looks like one of the wires (#571) is listed as going to the Windlass control unit on the electrical schematic; however #572 is not listed anywhere in the schematic. Probably going to have to just wire everything from scratch if I decide to install a windlass. The windlass is an option for this model so I was thinking it was possible the wiring was done but don't see any heavy gauge cable.

Your model year will not be pre-wired for a windlass. Sea Ray stopped doing that in the late '90's/early '00's to save on cost as windlass power wiring is expensive. And, it's even less likely that a smaller Sundancer would have had it. Even my '99 wasn't pre-wired - and, yes, installing a windlass is not a small task. However, the foot control switch wiring could very well already be there as that wiring is cheap and it might be less expensive to just build a common wiring bundle.

I think so, that makes sense! So I should be able to use those instead of running new control cables to the dash as long as that is where they are running. Thanks!
