2006 240 DA Amp Locatoin

Hi Everyone,

I would like to add a subwoofer and upgrade the helm speakers.

I realize i need to add an amp, but not sure where to add it. I don't want to lose alot of storage space, but don't want to have heat issues. Any advice would be very appreciated.

I recently did a similar project and mostly avoided the heat issue by using a class D amplifier which runs much cooler than the traditional ones. I used the JL Audio M500/3, replaced the cockpit speakers with 7" JL speakers and added a 10" JL sub.
