What is plugged into port 27 in my helm junction box?

I've got a 2005 Sundancer 340 that is having helm control issues. Initially i thought it was the switch pads going out. One of them was recently replaced and I had assumed that the other may also be going out. My core issue is the 4 pin junction box by DNAGROUP under the helm. There are 3, 4 prong connections plugged into it. 2 of them are the touch switch pads and the 3rd is something else I haven't been able to trace. When everything is plugged in none of my switch pads work. When I unplugged the mystery 3rd 4 pin connection, my new port side switch pad powers on and works but the starboard switch pad is still dead. I've had two mechanics look at it and both are lost on what is going on. I assume its a bad ground, but I don't know this digital system well enough to sort out whats going on.

Good luck with the testing, sorry I can't help but somebody may come along that can.
My bet that eventually you will be headed in this direction anyhow.
Hope you are sitting down.

If you can move the wires and get a better pic of the part numbers that would help a lot. But I will say this, I highly doubt a ground is the issue. It is quite common for the switch pads to die out suddenly and the module itself is going bad.

Attached below is a pick of the junction box.

It looks like this was a custom product made for Sea Ray. You might try contacting them to find out more: https://dnagroup.com/contact/

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. If you have one set of working switches, you could try plugging them into where the other bank is and see if the module is fully functional. Also track down the third set and see where that leads too.

That box is what connects the carling switch for the blower control on your 12v panel in the cabin to the EIM system. I replaced one about 2 years ago due to similar issues and was able to source it directly through my sea Ray dealer for $175 ish if I recall correctly.
