I would say you got a very good deal indeed at that price.

Congratulations. I had an 04 300DA and loved It. Hopefully you got maintenance and use history for such a little used boat. Averages out to 18 hours a season. Such as, was it used lightly every year or did it sit unused for multi-year stretches.
It went through a broker in Iowa. Funny story, was trying to buy the same boat but 2002 for 62K before taxes. However the poor guy was going through a bad divorce and his soon to be ex would not sign off it. He owned the bank like 78K which was originally what he was asking now 61K. So i waiting for the poor guy for around four months got a survey and everything. Finally just walked with only $300 loss on the survey. End up looking right away and found the 2005 in Iowa. It truly is a buyers market right now for these things. However i did say 58K if seller is ready to go. They counter and i kindly replied 58K. Two weeks later my wife, baby, dog and i navigated that boat to stillwater mn. It was rather effortless in that boat.
The boat had been maintained its entire life by the marina from which I bought it. Being the third owner of this boat I was told the first owner put on 140 hours and the second owner put on only 20. I guess the second owners really just like having drinks in port and who could ever blame them.
