2005 320 Sundancer

I am new to the forum just joined today. I am thinking about purchasing used 2005 320 Sundancer, any issues I should watch out for. I have two boats in mind, I am looking at both this weekend. One has white hull and other one blue. The white hull has 6.2 L MPI V drive engine, the blue has Mercruiser 5.7 350 Mag. I am not a technical person, can anyone explain what is the difference and how big a deal it is? Another question I have is about Radar neither one has it, blue one has Raymarine C80 unit on it with GPS, the dealer tells me that I just need to install a radar dome for radar function - how expensive is it? Can anyone recommend good surveyour in Atlanta and Pittsburgh area/

Welcome to the forum.. I have a 2005 320 with the 350 V Drives. The 6.2's should give you a little extra burst of power to come on plane, but really not that much of a difference either way. If you don't mind my asking, what is the price each one is being offered at? What other options are offered on each boat. With regard to the Radar, yes, you can add a raydome for around $800-$1,000. What will you mostly be using the boat for? What area will you be boating in, and how many people usually will you have on board? How many hours on the engines and do they both have generators? If so how many hours on the genny? Are there service records? what other options do they have ?

These are but a few questions to get the answers to and then of course the survey, and sea trial will help too..

We own a 2005 320 with 6.2's and V drives. Love the boat, cannot say enough about it.

I have a very good friend and a dock mate selling his LOADED, BEAUTIFUL (except aft canvas) 2006 320 with 350's and V-drives at an extremely reasonable price in Panama City, Fl.

Drop me a PM. I'll get you two hooked up. You cannot buy this kind of boat until you check my friend's boat out. It is white with black canvas, like new, radar, sunpad... every available option that I know of.
