I would like to hook my ipod up to my factory stereo without using a fm modulator. I see that i have an AUX option but cannot find a jack. Is one of the sets of audio wires on the back of the unit an audio in or are they all audio outs.

Any suggestion would be great. Any one with any alternate setups would be appreciated too

Thanks

Has any one actually used this and where or how did you route the wires. I Have purchased a 6' RCA to headphone jack wire now i just need ideas on where to route it

Yes - on my '05 260. From memory, I pulled the radio (easy) - plugged in the Red/white leads and then - If I recall, around that area is all flat black face material about 24W x 10H. That panel is thin - but I drilled a hole very near a wood support on the back side (so that as I push/pull the phone plug joint it had some support from the back). The whole project took less than an hour. Send me a PM with your phone number if you have other questions - I'd be glad to call & tell you all I remember. Worked great - just pushed the aux button and it played well - have to adjust your MP3 (I had a Creative Jukebox unit - Not Ipod) volume to obtain best sound quality. PS - my 260 should still be on the lot at Paul's Marine just on the N side of Columbus you could see what I did. I'm up in a Toledo sub - boat on Erie! Good Luck - Ray

Before you start you will need a stero RCA to 1/8" minipug cable. It has 2 RCA male plugs (Lt/Rt) on one end and the miniplug that attaches to the Ipod headphone jack on the other. You can get them at radioshack
