2005 200 Sport - How do you remove the engine cover/shroud?

I have the above mentioned boat and it has the optional two jump seats on the sides of engine cover. It also has the back/back seats on the port side and a single swivel seat at the helm. I can't seem to tilt the fiberglass engine cover far enough forward to get the hinges to release. The port seat gets in the way.

So, do I need to pull out the seat or is there some other trick? I would like to remove the cover to more easily get at the engine.

I have the same setup but don't have a problem getting the cover off. The lounger on your's might be installed a little further aft. Did you try lifting the seat up or pushing the box against the seat to compress the cushion a little. The box doesn't have to go to the floor to come off it comes out of the hinge at about a 45 degree angle.
