2004 Bavo 3 outdrive

You must have one hell of a mechanic if he managed to get a new impeller in that drive without cussin' and throwin' things.

Those are a royal PITA to change in a Bravo 3. Damned near, if not completely impossible.

Yeah must have been a ***** as a BIII does not have an impeller in it (Skibum, I got the sarcasm).

I have a 2004 Baravo 3 for sale. It has nice high performance stainless steel props with it. The mechanic just changed the oil and installed a new impeller so its ready to go

Mr William O'Connell,

Some suggestions:

- Let us know who you are. You did not introduce yourself as a local business.

- List your location/address. When I do not see a physical address I assume it’s a scam. I see you do not even list it on your website. There is just no reason to not list your location. Anyone with even basic web knowledge can back track, you do not need to be with the FBI anymore. This is what I did find although I did not validate nor confirm if the data is current:
Indian Island Construction? Who is that? Again, I did not bother to look into it further.
Name: LONGISLANDMARINE.US
Name: William OConnell
Organization: Indian Island Construction
Address1: 59 Washington Blvd.
City: Commack
State/Province: NY
Postal Code: 11725
Country: United States
Country Code: US
Phone Number: +1.6312350186
Email: williamm631@verizon.net

- Contact this site owner and let him know who you are. Since you are a business I would recommend you talk to this site owner about working out a sponsorship agreement. He is a good guy and would work with you if you are a legitimate business in good standing. If you are part time / small / cash strapped / only serve a local area this site owner may take that into consideration. Members here do need honest reliable haulers. In the past, members here have searched for quality marine haulers in your area. You are a business, please behave like a business.

- It’s very odd that you are DBA (Doing Business As) using the exact same name as another business in your area. If you are connected and share the same ownership I apologize for my misunderstanding. I did find that disturbing.

- From what I can tell you are a residential contractor looking use your CDL license and trucking equipment to earn some extra income by hauling boats and doing boat repair in these challenging economic times, particularly challenging in the residential construction field. I can not begrudge you for doing that so long as you are honest about it.

This Bravo III drive could be legit or not, I cannot tell.

I’m going to put this in the ‘proceed with caution until a trusted member here can fill in some blanks’ category.

Wow
I tried to sign in the other day and it said the servers were down for some reason. The next day I was able to sign in but my history on this site was gone. Pictures, posts, signature all gone.
Thank you Presenation for taking time to post to this.
My name is Willie. Four years ago my cousin who has operated LI Marine for a very long time and has been a marine mechanic since high school ( he's 49 now) had some family issues, which unfortunately spilled over into his business.
I couldn't get my boat out of his yard. It sucked to be me, but it was sucking even worse to be him. Because the housing market was getting be up my contracting business was hurting. I had an idea to help Tommy and revamp the business. I have a carting lisence and trucks and trailers. Tommy has lifts hydraulic trailers and an awesome boat shop so I started recycling boats. I was amazed at the amount of abandoned or non running boats that were on Long Island. It is a 130 mile long island.
Its hard to get rid of a boat here because of the ground water contamination possibilities and and the certifications needed by any of the landfills to even legally accept boats.

So since the time I helped Tommy out of his situation and got my boat back in the water. LI marine has added a marine recycling center. We now have 30-40 boats in various stages of parting out. I have parted well over 100 boats and am anal about the recycling of them so they don't just get crushed and dumped into a landfill. One of these boats is a 2004 24' Searay that was burnt at the dock. I have the title for it and towed it to the ramp myself with a bay constable escort.

Please excuse the typos in my earlier post as you can see it was posted at 1 am and I was exhausted. We have probably 30 -40 used outdrives aplhas mostly. All of them have been serviced. and plenty of spare parts for them although we don't sell outdrive parts just outdrives.

Thanks again Pesentation for the info you posted about me. I believe it's from whois and Indian Island has been hosted by bluehost for allot of years I just switched http://longislandmarine.us to be hosted by them and that is my contact information. My daughter made the site for us. I did have probably over 100 posts here and used to watch Sookeays? posts. Her 87 and my favorite project boat is an 87 SRV which has twin 4.3 motors. Her restoration was inspiring to me and was one of the reasons I would come here just to see what she was up to. I'll get the serial numbers off that drive, I know the boat had 410 hours.

Heres Tommy pulling the burnt gas tanks out of the boat the Bravo is from. Little toasty huh
