2004 380 prop removal

Hello, just purchased a 2004 sundancer 380. Having trouble removing old props off of v-Drives. Not sure they have ever been removed according to previous owner. Boat has been in Salt and freshwater.
Any suggestions on how to remove??

If you’re not having a mechanic do it then you need to look up purchasing a prop puller per your size props and number of blades or you can also look up prop knocker which is a brass tool that threads on to the end of your prop shaft you can give it a good whack with a mallet to shock the prop loose

Usually the shop that you are gonna bring the props too.... Will loan you a puller if you ask them... Just leave the last nut on a few turn so the prop don't come flying off and knock you out!!!!

I used a puller, got it off eBay and works well. Add some heat to the hub after you crank down the puller. Be ready to sh** your pants when it comes loose...lol scared the crap out of me when it came loose the first time.
