I am looking for some where I can purchase a Nav Masthead Anchor Light (mounts on top of arch) pn 1543750. The light comes out horizontal from the arch and has two bends in it to avoid the radar. The old tube split and allows rain etc to get inside tube. I have taped it but want to find a new light if possible. The local searay dealer through Perko can get it but very expensive. Thanks. Tim

Go to the Perko website and download their catalog. Then, buy it on Ebay. I have done it several times. Good luck.

Thanks Don. I can only find it listed (shown) in the special orders section of the catalogue. I did check ebay for the individual searay pn but no luck. Any other thoughts?

I would think a local canvas guy can cut and bend a new pipe for you.

I need to replace mine also. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement light. I did not have any luck on Perko site either but thanks for the suggestion bahamabreisus.

I need one too. I can buy the light fixtures and base, but still the old festoon bulbs leaky old style light.

Anybody come up with a newer version...LED and sealed?

Quality Marine Electronics in Holland Mi did mine. I updated the nav package last year. The new Raymarine antenna had a mount on the arch so they bent stainless and added a new LED nav light.

Custom...that's an option. I was hoping off the shelf. I just found a Perko replacement on ebay for $25 that included the base and light fixture, so I ordered it. I'm going to try to rebuild it first.

Well, I got mine working. Pulled the contact block out at both ends and soaked contacts in cider vinegar. Cleaned the contacts nicely, look almost new. 2 new festoon bulbs and the both light up.

I’ll have to clean up the base next time at the boat and re bed it so it doesn’t leak into the arch. If all is well, maybe I’ll spring for a set of LEDs.

The aluminum pole is corroded but serviceable. Maybe I can get sone stainless tube bent as a replacement.

My light keeps falling over how did you secure it or tighten base?

I bought some 1/8” stainless pop rivets. You put one in the pole and it slides into the base as I recall. There should be a hole through the pole and into the plastic receptacle.

I drilled 2 small holes in mine and put two screws in, getting rid of the plastic nut all together. I also removed the 3 prong connection and ran wire all the way thru. As best I can tell the only reason either exists is so you can take the light down to replace the bulbs.

This is a temporary solution until I can install my new Seaview LED Light and Light bar.
