I'm wanting to install a 10" sub or 2. Looks like I could rebuild the side storage compartment by the captains seat and put a free air sub there pretty easily.

Has anyone installed or see a reason why I couldn't install a sub in the port side aft in the location I circled.

Look up from the bilge and/or remove the storage cubby to check clearance for your sub. The bilge in that boat is actually quite friendly to work in - so at least you have that going for you.

Yes, it is pretty decent as far as bilges go.

It looked pretty clear, other than the bilge cent tubes. There's a storage compartment on the starboard side in the same location.

Would there be any problems with having a subwoofer going into the area connected to the bilge like that?

I'm not a "sound" guy, so I can't speak from that viewpoint. However, from a "is it OK to do this" viewpoint, yes, it is fine.

I don't care so much from a sound standpoint. I'm sure it'll be good enough. As long as it's safe from an electrical standpoint I'm good.
