Greeting all...
I am looking for opinions. This afternoon I am going to look at a 2003 SR 280 w/4.3s and the alphas. The price point is good but I have concerns. I will of course have it surveyed but I figure I'd like some sme (subject matter experts) opinions...
The engines have 655 hours each. They are advertising new risers, manifolds, and heads. The risers and manifolds can be attributed to good preventative maintenance. But, the heads? That concerns me. Why would someone swap out the heads unless they are band-aiding a problem?
