Awesome looking boat. Currently have a 2002 340da (6.2s-V-drives)
Looking at your pics, I cannot tell if your engines are closed cooled or not? I'm as experienced with the 8.1's as I am the 6.2's.

Great looking vessel, wish it was fresh water.

Seems if you're advertising in your area, should sell quickly. Best wishes...

8.1S's self drain at the manifolds and coolers after they are turned off. Salt or fresh really doesn't matter. Never let salt stop you unless there not 8.1S.

Its advertised as fresh/brackish use as well, between the self draining manis and cooler and the use i would say a great buy.
Hoping my 370 sells soon lots of good deals out there.
good luck OP

Well said. I personally would not exclude a well maintained saltwater boat from consideration.

The boat was under contract in 4 weeks and now sold. Boattrader proved to be the best place to sell and all real prospective buyers came through that site. Other lessons learned or reinforced for me were that while brokers may add value for many, they also add significant cost which, in my case, resulted in no sale, until I took it upon myself to get the boat sold on my own.

Also, documentation services like the one I used when I purchased this boat, again just in my opinion, may be helpful to some but are not necessary if you take a little time to learn what's required for a smooth, secure and pretty easy transaction.

In the end I feel like both the buyer and I benefited from working closely together on the sale and he got a better deal and I got what I wanted out of the transaction.

I am moving to a center console for offshore fishing and diving so I won't be going with searay or staying on the forum, but in my experience it was a great boat and this forum was an excellent resource during my time as a searay owner.

Congrats on the sale! Good luck with your future purchase. I wouldn't abandon the forum completely though unless your time is a factor. Your knowledge through owning this boat may be of help to another down the road! Cheers!
