Hello, New to site. I just got a 2002 270 SunDeck with a huge motor. 496 HO with 425 HP and Corsa side exhaust. New plugs, filters, power steering piston replaced lower unit on the Barvo III (pitting issue) and installed new covers, Great Boat!

Good Luck with the Boat! and welcome aboard!
We boat out of Seaford and hang in Bellmore Cove, Massapequa or Zachs most weekends.
Always have a fender hanging over the side and cold ones aboard.

Congratulations on the new to you boat. It's a great boat that can fit lots of people comfortably. I wish I had your engine, though. You have about 100 HP more.

Congratulations on your new boat. I'm sure you'll make fond memories with your boat.

Hi, I just entered into contract for a 2002 270 sundeck, same options....the observable parts of the boat (seats, engine, covers, hull) are in great condition! I think I am getting a great deal but am concerned about the age of the engine. The engine has 300 hours and boat was kept on a lift since day 1......I am having an engine survey by a merch tech with computer and the typical boat survey completed next week! My purchase comes with a tri axel trailer with winch and surge breaks........I will be boating in the long island sound! Any suggestions on what to be cautious of? Contract is subject to inspections.

First off, congrats and welcome to CSR!! The Sundeck is an all around fun boat! The 270 should be perfect for handling the occasional chop on the Sound. I would just make sure to pay close attention to the weather with an open bow with no place for protection if a big storm were to pass through. Then again, with that engine you could most definitely beat out the storm. Again, congrats!!
