2002 310DA Seat Repair Question

I am wondering if anyone has ever repaired the back of the double passenger seat next to the helm bucket seat. The back of the seat is fairly loose and easily bends if someone leans back in it. I am imagining some sort of angle brackets that hold the back to the bottom, but I haven't taken anything apart yet.

Have any of you had to repair one of these seats before?
