2001 Weekender 225 Battery Replacement Size Help

There will never be anything in a manual for your boat regarding what group-size battery to use. Batteries are not installed at the factory - they are installed when a dealer preps it for delivery. There's also nothing definitive anywhere online because it's ultimately a owner-preference thing. The green one is definitely a 24, I'm pretty sure the other is also a 24, but I can't see it's full size all that well. However, you can put EITHER a 24 or a 27 in the standard battery tray. You might consider a 24 starting battery and a 27 DC.

Does that oil filter have a 3/25/11 date on it? They should be changed every year.

completely off topic here, but either your profile info is inaccurate or your post title is inaccurate....which boat do you have?....a 2001 215EC (Express Cruiser) or a 2001 225WE (Weekender)?....although they are similar they are still different boats...having the correct information in your profile is important when you post a question so others know exactly what boat you have and can offer possible answers to your questions.....

Thanks for the clarification. Yes, that is a pretty old pic but the only one I could find on my phone.
