2001 WE 225 Amplifier Location

I am trying to troubleshoot the main deck speakers on my 2001 WE 225. The RCA plugs are connected, but the speakers in the cockpit are not working. I assume there is an AMP somewhere, but cannot find it. Also is there a fuse for the amp in the main fuse panel?

RCA plugs at the speakers???

IF you have an amp (might not), and if my memory serves, it would be in the cabinet storage in the cabin. Yes, there would be a fuse.

No - the RCA plugs come out the back of the head unit on short leads, they connct to another pair of plugs that go off into the wiring harness beyond.... fader controls....good point will check. Sometimes I need to think of the simple before the sublime.

I forgot to add... The amp fuse (again, if you have one) is located by the stereo memory fuse and bilge pump fuse - just follow the smaller gauge wire coming off your (+) battery post.

Simple - yup... "K.I.S.S."... I tend to forget that sometimes, too!
