Hi, first time posting here. I have a 2001 Searay Sundeck 270 with stock Clarion XMD1 head unit and the stock speakers. The head unit is working fine but I get no longer get any sound from any speakers.
I took the head unit out to test it, that's where I verified via the RCA out connected to a boom box that it is in fact outputting audio. When I connect an amplified audio out to the RCA inputs that lead to the speakers I get zilch.
Any suggestions? I'm wondering if there is an amp or splitter electronics hidden somewhere? I've looked in obvious places and cant find anything. Whatever there is I think would be stock that came with the 270 when the prior owner first purchased it. I haven't yet ruled out that all speakers have failed, but it just seemed unlikely to me that would be the issue. Will head back to the boat with a test speaker to check that hypothesis.
