2001 Sea Ray 21' Bowrider Price Opinions

You are too high, however this could be ok from the marketing school of thought as being too high will seduce certain people and drives them to view the vessel, thus increasing traffic. This is only good if you have a plan on future pricing strategy and know your competition. Anyone who argues with this can consult a marketing book from their local university bookstore. With out a plan however, this tactic won't get you far as the views are out of pure curiosity. So, despite the increased in views your phone wont actually ring more. I would need to know more about your boat and probably speak with you to give you a definitive and accurate number. I am now a broker for Gulf Coast Hatteras and sell... well Hatteras, however I once worked for a company who sold a lot of Sea Rays. If you are interested, I will gladly provide you with some advice so feel free to send me a PM. Don't worry, I wont try and pursued you to list her or anything. My 2005 Hydra-Sports is 21 feet with very low hours and is priced at around 24k with the knowledge that negotiation is unavoidable in sales. Good Luck!

I sold my 2001 210 BR including a tandem axle trailer for $15,000 in September 2009 using boat trader. I had to find a cash buyer because the NADA was only around $12,000 and that is all the banks would loan on this boat. I had several offers for the NADA value of $12,000 but I turned them all down because I still owed $15,000 on the boat and wasn't in a hurry to sell. I was fortunate to find a cash buyer who desperately needed a boat for Labor Day weekend and didn't do his homework. Good luck.
