2001 340 Sundancer Beds

Hoping someone can solve a debate that the wife and I are having. We purchased the boat in late 2017, and have since then been discussing where all the beds are in the boat. Obviously the V-berth in the front, and the kitchen table converts, but are there modifications elsewhere? For example do the back two benches also convert to a bed or no?

Thanks for the reply. I saw this online as well, but truthfully it doesn't explain it well. Are they saying that the back area of the cockpit turns into a bed? If so, what is used as the supports as well as mattresses or cushions?

I have the same boat (same year, model, etc.) There's a board that slides out to give it support when you pull the middle cushion down. It's a full bed. Our kids argue over who's getting the back bed. It's "a lot" more comfortable than the "kitchen table bed", which is basically a twin sized bed. The only trick is when it's time to put it back up and trying to get all the side/back cushions to fit correctly.

Thanks!! That is what I though. Is there only one support board there in the middle or are there multiple? Then my last question is about the cushions. Are the cushions all from the cockpit?

If you pull the middle cushion out towards the v-beth, it is supported underneath with a board, with a "y"-shaped pivot board that folds down for the back-half of support. Use the side cushions to fill in the extra space.

Picking up on this old thread I am wondering if the cockpit area turns into a bed as well? We have a board and two cushions which would seem to go where the table is but I’m unsure.
