I've had this problem for the year I've had my boat. The stern bench seat bottoms are not staying solidly in place. In the first picture you can see the underside of the seat and the three things used to hold it in place. The one on the left and on the right have a little lip on it that goes underneath the edge of the seat base holding it down. The way the boat came from the factory (as far as I can tell) was with the one being on the left, or in the middle of the seat having a lip on it, and the other one facing the bow and on the seat edge not having a lip just keeping the seat in place but not holding it down. The problem I have is while trailering w/o my cover the seat bottoms like to flip up and I've almost lost one already. While on the water they also tend to come undone and just rest on top of the base. I tried taking a lipped piece off of one base and moving it to the side of the other and it is a good fit. I'd need to order 2 more of those pieces if I can even find them to finish the job, but my fiance is afraid it'd be to hard to get the seat out. What do you guys think? What is my best bet? I've tried everything I can think of but nothing I do seems to get these seat bases to stay secured to the base with the exception of what I just figured out tonight. Any ideas?
