I want to replace my existing helm remote with one that has an actual display and not just the control buttons.
A friend is willing to sell me an old, but never used and still in the original box Clarion m201rcs unit which would do just that, but my old XMD1 head unit won't work to actually show the information on the remotes display.
I cannot seem to readily find an XMD2 which would work.
Does anyone know any current manufacturers that are making a wired remote with an LCD display that would fit in a 2" hole? There is literally no room at the existing remote location on my helm for anything larger.
