I always threaten to show up to this, but never have been able to make it. I'll do it again this year. Ya never know. I'd love to make it, but can't commit as after the last year of massive change, I'll have limited vacation after June 29, which is better than none as of now.
I'll definitely be there in spirit though and rely on all of you to paint the picture and tilt a few back for me in honor of Dom.

When I told Rob my budget, he was suddenly urgently needed back at the office! ;-)

Actually, there are several new model SRs I can afford - but they weren't running any of the bowriders at Yacht Expo.

I don't know what airports are nearest you but a quick Travelocity search shows no flights from SEA to AC. You could always drive for the weekend!

Finally something else warm to look forward to (after my 15 days on the aruban beach in exacly 1 monthe from now:smt043) sorry had to do it. But I will def be there boat or no boat. And ill toast one of those skunky beers with ya. Btw how long would you say the trip from jones inlet to ac would be doing I dunno 18 mph (joe is that about right) he has to start saving for fuel now. And leave thursday morning. Again my bad

Amtitious trip. Looks to be about 100 mi from Jones Inlet to Absecon Inlet depending on your vector. If you get into the 330 you're looking for, you'll have the range. In good conditioins, probably 5 hours of boring ocean views! Shall I put you down on post #1?

Thanks for the reminder. I will plan a little more carefully this time. Check sea conditions before and AFTER the stay. Ill b sure to check that off on my list. On the upside of that stay I did get another 2 weekends of partying in belmar witch by the way is a great party town

I checked flights and the money isn't bad (less than $500) but there are 4 stops there and 2 stops back. That's a total of 23 hours of flying! How far from an airport other than ACY?

It might be better to fly to Newark & rent a car. I'm not real sure on the drive. The jersey boys will definitely have better info but at least it's a major airport.

Sweet! Non-Stop from SFO to Newark for $355 round trip! That would get to to Newark late Thursday night. I would be able to stay at a place there Thursday and rent a car Friday AM. I need to clear with the Admiral...

Newark airport is only 2 hours north of ac. I will say its worth getting in the car when you arrive and going straight to Atlantic city. Not sure if your familiar with the area around the airport but it can get a little "uncomfortable" if ya catch my drift
