Anyone with a 270da know how their cockpit drains around where your feet are at the helm? It seems like water tends to pool in the area along the starboard cockpit floor where it meets the molded seat. Like there should be a way for water to travel freely under the seat base but it doesnt look like there is.

If i get water in that area whether through rain leakage, or hosing down the area, it just pools there and drains slowly causing dirt to remain after it drains

If you open the door under the steering wheel you will see a good size drain. Mine would collect debris every once in a while and need to be cleaned. You can reach into that spot with your arm - you may need to lay down to reach it. It’s on the far starboard side. That drain goes to an flexible hose then to a fitting that drains overboard on the starboard side.

After reading this again, I realize the drain I referred to is much lower than where your feet would be. There is no drain that allows water under the helm seat on the starboard side. Water would have to move to the center of the boat and drain to the rear and fall into the engine hatch channel to drain out the the back.
