Hello all! I'm new to the boating world. I'm interested in a 1999 Sea Ray BR 180 with the 3.0 Merc. I can pick it up for $2000 but it has an overheating problem. The guy that owns the boat said within the last year he had changed the bellows, impeller, and thermostat and said it sill overheats and isn't putting more $$$ into it. I was thinking it could be bad exhaust manifold or flapper. Is it worth checking out? But I'm not really interested in the boat if it has a cracked block or something catastrophic. Is a cracked block or head always noticeable? Thanks!
