A friend of mine is looking at this boat with twin 300 hp vdrives. Does anyone have any experience with this boat and engine set uo.

I am afraid it might be under powered

Definitely not under powered. I've got the 1998 310 with 5.7 alpha's putting out 260hp and that's perfect for me. If you go to the forum for 310's you'll see most have the 300mags with v-drives.
