I had my factory deck scuppers out, while I took them to a shop an hour away. Severe thunderstorm with a few inches of rain while deck scupper removed for replacement. I see there is a gap between the fiberglass skin of the deck and the fiberglass of the hull. I had my drain plug out, because I am replacing that as well.
My question is - would the water that flowed into the gap between the deck and hull make it down to the bilge? Or, do I now have water trapped in that cavity between the deck and hull?
This is my first boat and I am meticulously getting her restored. thanks.
