Hi all,
Kind of surprised I can't find a youtube video on baitwell operation for something similar to what I have on the 1999 180 sport...guess it must be that obvious
I'm pretty sure that I need to turn the control cable to fill or recirc and flip the rocker switch on. At which point, the baitwell will fill. Is it the recirc selection on the control cable that provides the aeration or is that just going to continue to bring fresh water in (and the overflow tube keeps a constant level)? Do I need to keep the switch on and cable on when using the baitwell?
What maintenance is involved (checking the pump out?)? The boat is 17 years old, but prior owner treated it well...he didn't fish or use the baitwell though.
First time boat owner and first time baitwell user. I'd love to find an owners manual for the baitwell operation on this boat if anyone has a link. Will take whatever info I can get...don't want to kill my bait or sink the boat!
Thanks much
