Guys, When I turn the ignition key there is no beep or clicking...Outdrive WILL raise and lower normally and engine will not crank. Throttle perfectly neutral. This is what has been tried so far...

1-no power to fuse panel after a test
2-5 fuses in engine area all test fine with meter
3-ran jumper from +battery to + on basic blue seas fuse panel—-when stacked on existing -starts fine—A-ok
4- running only jumper from battery+ to fuse block+ ( factory fuse panel + disconnected) starter solenoid clicks.. no start...
5 -tried new Sierra 18-5816 solenoid—-same result
6-tried jumper across 50 amp engine fuse ...( continuity good) same result-nada
7- checked cut off/kill lanyard switch and bypassed... nothing
8- hooked up new Sierra ignition switch.... no change.. nada
9... thinking gotta be a 6th hidden fuse ... not shown of factory wiring dwg... but dwg shows a battery switch so cost cutting

10-re-connected jumper from battery+ to fuse block + ( stacking on existing wiring)... all works....
11– maybe a ground issue——jumpered neg-battery to neg fuse panel ... no change

Any help appreciated!

Check the wire harness at the battery. You may have forgotten to attach one of the smaller “+” wires, it could be hiding there.

Another possibility is a rotted connection, where the wire has detached from the terminal end.

FWIW the problem was a 90 Amp fuse mounted near the starter that was burned out. Very hard to detect as the starting issue but think I will carry a spare on in my bag when I go out from now on!

I was hoping someone here could tell me!

Do the starters in these boats start eating fuses before they go? This is my first boat so not sure. Was working ok all last season with no issues.
