1998 400 Sundancer Galley Rope Lighting?

I am digging into this boat and see that it has rope lighting under the bottom edge of the galley cabinets. Does anyone with a similar model year have these? I would think there is a 12v transformer for them somewhere but can't find it. If they are original equipment, what switch are they connected to? Thanks! Dan

I have a 97. There is no rope lighting in the boat. The 1997 is very close to the 1998 but not a 98, I know. Are you sure it is 110volt rope and not 12volt led controlled by the same switch that illuminates the stairs?

I too have never seen one with rope lighting in the galley. Like the idea though.

Thanks guys, previous owner must have added it. I just can't see a switch or get the rope to turn on. It looks like it was professionally installed, but I can't find a power source, cord looks like 110.

This is a guess as I put a led strip under the cabinets from one end to the other. The switch might be on top of the cabinet near the curtain. The power supply most likely is the 110 outlet that the refer plugs into. If so, on my 2001 has access via the cabinet in the salon before you go down the steps. On the right there is a panel. Open the panel, Philp screws and on the backside is the 110 plug.
