Does anyone know what brand and size the v drives are in a 370 Sundancerwith gas 454's? It's not my boat and trying to find out for a freind. Thanks

If its's the mid to late 90's it's probably the Borg Warner 5000 series...

It is a 1998. Any ideas on the ratios?? Thanks again.

I wish I could say for sure... but I can't... Uhummm, I believe it to be 1.5 to 1???

Sorry, I will try to find the answer for sure for you...

On the '98 370DA we had, it was a pair of Hurth 630V's... I'm about 99% sure. The ratio was 2.0:1, and the standard props were 3-bladed. When we took delivery, we upgraded to 4-blade props (to maximize cruising speed) and kept the old ones as spares.

There is a 370 da thread on here, you could double check with those folks too.

Here is the info.....

{1} Weight shown is boat with standard engine and most optional equipment.
{2} Shaft length is from coupling face to shaft end.
{3} CRUISE RPM shown is a selected base to be used as reference. Actual cruising RPM may vary from person to person depending on preference.
{4} MPH and KNOTS are calculated using optimum trim of boat with and without using trim tabs. Prop condition can affect speed.
{5} GPH is usage on both engines. Readings are based on engine manufacturer’s dynamometer tests and is to be used as a reference only. Actual operational specs may vary with sea conditions and boat loading.

NOTE: All data recorded at sea level. Variations in loading, altitude, temperature, and sea conditions will affect performance and may result in lower speed and less range.
