Im looking to purchase a 98 330 Dancer. During my discussion with the broker he tells me that there is a moisture issue with the extended swim platform. Nothing major but a lot of the sea rays of this model and year had issues with "moisture" in the extended platform and even some "soft spots". Has anyone else had this problem or any moisture problems with this vintage boat? He also said he got a reading with a moisture meter around the front windshield and forward hatch. He said nothing to cause penetration to the internal header but was probably correctable by recaulking around the noted areas.
Any advice or things to look for?
Thanks for any help

Walk away. The platform is not an issue. That's easily replaceable, unless you are talking of the attachment to the hull. I believe the deck is cored. You don't want or need the headache. There is a lot more than some caulking.

I have the same problem in the front of my 1994 330. It can be fixed, I was told with the West System.
