1997 Sea Ray 500 Sundancer "Hi All"

Purchased a 97 sundancer 500 this summer.:smt038 Having a blast learning about it and enjoying the Patuxent and Cheseapeake. Her name is Nicheta. She is powered by a pair of Cats that look a bit intimidating but run beautifully. Seems I am always fixing stuff, which keeps me busy and I have fun learning. Would love to dialogue with other sundancer owners who aften get challenged with things like I do :huh:

Thanks JC, We lucked out, but it has been quite a learning experience, especially learning about diesel engines. Fortunately, Nicheta only has 285 hours on them and they pur.

Clogged fuel vents was a learning lesson at the pump.:smt021

That's a really nice boat! Did you have the engines surveyed and check with Cat on the service history, especially regarding the intercoolers?
