Scott you have my panels now, and we discussed them today. :) Can't wait to get them installed. Don't forget to send my old ones back too since my wiring diagram is on the back!

Hahah, that's right your 1885 breakdancing panels  I am planning on working ont hem this weekend so stay tuned

Bliss, you need anything just call, I will help in any way I can

Good news, and thank heaven! I have a friend who is by just about anyone's standards an electrical genius. He steped aboard and rewired all the gauges in about 1 1/2 hours. All is back to operating -- YIPEE!
I well say that the gauge install is easy to screw up - be careful. J

--- now it's about installing a new TV. :smt101 Didn't I see something about that around here?

1988 340 sundancer panels

Hey scott I got your name from Divedaddy over at boatered. I need new panels for my 340 sundancer. Does your light up like the factory? On mine the words light up ( Sterio, head, wipers . . ect) I need the panel behind the guages and behind the two switches. I have part numbers if you need them. Last question is how soon could you do this?

Thanks for your time.

I had replacements made for my 2001 310 by Technografic. They made the panels for Searay. Located in Ft lauderdale
954-928-1714 ask for Dan.
They did a super job.

Hi all

I have just joined your forum (I wish I had done it last year when I first purchased the boat, a 1998 330 Sundancer)

I have rengined the boat with twin 246 hp Steyrmotor diesel engines and this required some reworking of the panels to reflect the diesel setup, I also had an extra panel made to fit in the lower section just below the Cb's to house the key start switches and these panels were made by a company here in the UK called AXON controls (the make panels for Fairline motor yachts) my panel are laser cut Alluminium and lacqured finish to a very high standard, I also replaced all the switches with new ones.

I chose not to have the switch idents etched on the panel but chose switches that had an icon on them as this would allow me to change them around later if needed, these switches have LED's fitted that show the icon ie HORN, Wiper, sonar etc on selection.

I have posted a picture of the panels for interest and whilst I think that the ones posted by scotc look very good these might be an alternative for consideration (all inclusive price for three panes and all switches £520 postage)

If anyone needs any more info I would be very happy to help out with more info.

Regards

TC

I haven't read through all the posts, but I didn't see FPMARINE (flounder pounder) mentioned. I got my switch and gauge panels from Ken and I was very happy with them. All the laser etching was good and blue color tint was right on for the backlit I.D.'s. JUst make sure you allow yourself PLENTY of time to install them. By the time you draw a schematic take a few pictures and take off all those wires then switch panels and do it all in reverse...I spent 3 hours per panel! I did that on my '95 330 last spring. Make sure he understands which options you have as it makes a difference in the panel. For instance, i/o's have trim gauges and v's do not, so if you have i/o's, you have two more holes in your gauge panel assuming you have twins. Good luck

i know this is an old thread, but is Scott still making instrument panels?

Thank you for letting me know, I’ll be staying away from that guy.

I went on fp marine they want $720 for my panels

I recently did mine (99 340DA) with the panels from FP Marine. I am very pleased. I put a thread regarding the swap on here. There is some good advice from others on doing it within that thread.

I think there is another panel company that is a sponsor on this forum. Maybe check their price out for comparison purposes. I seem to remember a thread comparing these two vendors regarding the finishing of the edges etc.

I used fpmarine for my 330 panel replacements. The gauge and switchboards worked and fit very well.. the radar panel and lower accessory panel are different sizes in the molds and have to be cut. This was a nightmare.. they did not cut well even with a special plastic jigsaw blade. Tried a handsaw also, and it wouod chip and delam. I managed to get them looking decent though. Overall it looks great, so id recommend the panels. Mines a 1995 330

Hello everyone, I am Scott Cambra owner of Vector Imaging, I specialize in manufacturing instrument panels. I have now completed the following panels and they are ready for reproduction. I can change anything you like, add logos, graphics and change the switch labeling all for no extra charge. the cost for both panels is 350 plus shipping. The material is very expensive but very high quality. They are reverse engraved and have a .060 thick clear cap over the burl design and text so they will last and stand up to the elements.. they are laser cut and engraved, a much better technology then what they had originally so they are clearer and easuer to read, I also made the textg a little more bold to make is easier on the eyes. Here are some pics of both.
