Some joker kicked my air horns off the front of my boat when it was being surveyed. After looking at the horns, it is time to replace them. Any ideas would be great. Should I go back to the original air horns or should I swap them out to electric. I have not checked the compressor for the horns yet. I think that the access is in the port state room.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have someone push the button while you check the air pressure at what's left of the horns. If there is good pressure just replace the horn portion and you will be set.

Ok, so last night I took a run out to the boat to check the horns and see if I was getting any compressed air. Sure enough she was blowing air. After careful inspection of the horns I figured out that the two nozzles that are threaded into the horns the selves air broken off. I am not sure if they unscrew from the horn or if they are pressed in. I also don't know if they make any sort of minting kit. I hate like hell to have to by everything for $300.00 when my horns look fine and they even worked when I pushed them down into the hole on the bow.

An help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Steve

Ok, so after having the wife knock on the deck of the boat where the horns once were, I figured out where the damn horns sit. Directly above the port stateroom head ceiling. I had to remove the entire cabinet in the port state room to even see where the bolts come through. Not that I can reach them or anything. I am going to have to call a buddy from the docks tomorrow with 4' long arms to bolt it up if the parts come in tomorrow. I actually called the factory and talked them into selling me some new studs. I polished the horns and I also ordered two new kits for the horns to rebuild them while they are off. I am trying to figure out why there are two ports on the horn compressor and only one line that "T" off the two studs on the horns. I also found another line just laying beside the compressor. I would think that each port goes to each side of the horns. Hhhmmm I guess this might be a trial and error deal. Hopefully, my parts will come in tomorrow.
