Typically, this means you need a new deck. Try to put it off till winter. Hope your stringers (structural members) and hull look OK as rot is caused by moisture penetration.

I’m a newbie.

How do I Repair a soft spot in my floor
Gonna need a lot more info, than that! :) For starters, do you feel comfortable cutting and ripping up your floor yourself? Secondly, where is the spot? Is it in a removable hatch?

As mentioned, soft spot means rotted floor... needs replaced.

Best of luck and welcome to CSR!

I’ll try to see from underneath where is But it is beside the gas tank where I can’t see it

Probably best to post a picture. But it sounds like it's in a solid section of the cockpit floor. Repair process is as I mentioned above - labor intensive. Expect the soft area to be at least 3 or 4 times bigger than what you think it is. This also sounds like, from your description, an area directly above a stringer - if the stringer is soft, this gets even more intensive to repair. If you are not comfortable with doing this type of work yourself, you might be better off selling it. This project has the potential to be much more expensive than what the boat is worth. But again, this is all conjecture at this point.

This is a pic of the Area where the soft spot is
