Hello all, I am thinking of purchasing a truck just for towing. Does someone have a link to show towing capacities for the above rig?

Hi Jim,
I don't know the towing capacity of that truck, but I hauled a '92 290 with a '90 F-250 SRW 460 gas 5 spd manual and it did fine, except on grades it would fall off some but that's to be expected. The 300 is a wider and heavier boat and depending on how much and how far you intend to pull it, you might be stretching it a little. You may want to try and hold out for a diesel.
