Would anyone who owns a '90's 220 OV consider taking it out to Catalina Island for a weekend providing there were no storm warnings. Our "new to us" 1993 220 OV just doesn't feel like it's designed to stand up to the sudden weather changes on the Pacific. We're just so used to the "old school" deep vee hulls and this might be all in our heads, but it's better to ask before heading out into the wild blue yonder. I know some of you have mentioned making the trip in a 230 OV but the 230 seems to be a much bigger boat.
