There is a very nice and well maintained 440 AC at our marina for sale. The family likes the boat a lot but we just dont like the ladder on the back to board the boat from the swim platform. Other than that its a beautiful boat. Can anyone chime in and tell me you thoughts on this style of SeaRay. It has big block gas motors and again is in excellent condition with very low hours
I guess what we are debating on is mainly the ladder on the back. If it had molded steps It would be a no brainer.
Also is there anything I need to be aware of with this year and model
If we were to do this we would be moving up from a 97 300 DA
Thanks for all replies in advance

I have a friend that is selling his 440AC for just that reason. They're older and climbing the ladder is a pain.

Im 51 and wife is 39 but its not our age that worries us its someone falling off the ladder while we are out in a cove partying

Man, that's a LOTTA boat for that powerplant. You better get used to traveling at hull speed - BIG difference from what you're driving now. Other than that, great boat - built like a tank with TONS of space inside. I wouldn't let the ladder stop you from buying it.
