1990 420 DA Transmissions

Does anyone know what transmissions were in a 1990 420 behind 3208-375 HP engines and were there any options ?

Hello B Barker.

The only way I know to find out for sure is to find the plate on the transmissions. If I had to guess (and this is a SWAG at best) probably some flavor of a Hurth HSW800. Usually the tag is on top that has the model and gear ratios stamped in. It might be blue.

I had one for about 10 years. Same year. Had ZF tranny and Vdrive. Never saw anything but that in any of the ones I had seen.

I have the same boat and engine configuration, you you should have ZF/MPM IRM-301 P1 transmissions with a MPM V 160-M V drive
