Would anyone happen to have a picture / pictures of the settee when has been set up as a berth ? Am thinking of buying this year and model but have yet to come across a picture of this settee with the filler cushions in place and am trying to visualize re: enough room for 2 etc. etc.

Any assistance would be much appreciated!

Thanks - Craig

Craig, would love to send some pictures, but trying to understand what area you are referring to. The aft cabin? I have a 1990 350 Sundancer.

Thanks for getting back! I am referring to the curved settee couch , non Sundancer model, directly across from the galley. It generally has a table in front of it. I am told that a base / platform slides
outward from under the cushions and then filler cushions go on top to make it a somewhat narrow, 2 person sleeper.

We have the 93 Sundancer model, ours does convert into a bed by pulling out the slider and putting the filler cushions in. We don’t keep the cushions on the boat because we have never found where you are supposed to store them. I will try and get some pictures tonight. Might be room for two kids but I would say only one adult.

We owned a 1993 Express Cruiser with the pull out support for making the extra berth. Depending on the size of the children it could sleep two kids or one adult. As mentioned earlier this boat has no place to store the inserts necessary for the conversion. This is the only boat we have ever owned that was extremely short on storage.

I just went to the Sea Ray.com website. looked at the owners manual for 90 express cruiser, page 53 shows how the setup goes .

Even with the Sundancer, there is no place to keep the extra cushions. Unless we are traveling overnight/weekend, I keep them at home, out of the way.

I keep the cushions in the bow storage locker under the v berth in garbage bags.If you go look at the boat pull up the couch cushions and measure the width of the pull out section. There should also be a short tube for the table top that this pull out will rest on when in sleep position.I have never used the pull out bed nor has any po.The couch is comfy as is and the grands like sleeping on the back of the boat, which will become a problem when they reach puberty i suppose.

Sorry for the delay and much appreciate your response. Everything was as is you mentioned! Sea trial this past Monday and have in my hands a survey (other than mechanical, from last year) and it passed with flying colours - questionable compression test results today so some concerns.
Posted my concerns on another tread.

Thanks Again!

You have a storage locker under the V berth? Is it in front of the water tank?

Express Cruisers do have decent storage under the master berth and no water tank there. It is in the engine room. This storage at the front of the boat gets wet however from condensation and leaks so it is like a wet basement. We used it for our big fenders. It was perfect for that function.

I have a EC water tank is at transom.I have had no water issues in my v berth torage yet,it was one of the cleanest places on the boat when i bought it.

Good afternoon,
I have a 93 330 Express Cruiser also and am in the process of reupholstering the interior. Does anyone have advice on removing the bolsters from the Settee across from the galley?
The two I’m having trouble with are the backrest of the slide out and the small section of back rest on the opposite side of the table.

Follow up....
Turns out the screws are hidden in the creases of the back rest cushions. After some digging, staple removal (and tearing), I found them all. Reinstall wasn’t bad, as the new screws are all hidden again too. New upholstery is in and looks good!
