1989 Sea Ray 300 WE Mag Stroker Repower

I am repowering my 300 weekender that has twin 5.7 (260 hp.each) and 1.52:1 direct velvet drives/ with 17x16 props

The new setup that I have already purchased is twin 6.2 383 Mag Strokers (340 hp.each) and 1.91:1 direct velvet drives. I need help figuring out what props to purchase for the new setup. Has anyone done this type of repower on a 300?

Is one of the 6.2 reverse rotation engine?
What model Velvet transmission did you get?
The weekender with 5.7 comes with 71 series. If you got a 72 or 73 series, they are longer. That means you’ll also have to shorten or replace the propeller shafts.
In regardsof the propeller size, you’ll be better off changing the gear ratio to 1:52 and get the prop size that came with the 454 engine option on the Weekender 300s.
