Hi everyone, my name is Steve, and I keep my boat, "Destiny" moored in Harrison Twp., Michigan, which is just a bit NE of Detroit.

I purchased the boat from a Woodbridge, VA., marina, and had it shipped up to Detroit in 2002. You would probably ask why, given we have so many boats in this area, but at the time, there were no good 280's for sale. Plus this one had a generator which is very rare for a boat of that size and year.

I spend alot of time doing little things to it, and trying to bring it back up to the beauty it once was. I can't believe some people buy expensive toys like this, then don't give them the TLC they deserve. I also spend alot of time doing nothing but relaxing on her as well!!!

I guess I'm the official greeter around here  Sounds like anice boat you have. I have looked at them for myself. It is about the biggest boat that will fit in our slip behind our house. You're right, a gen is uncommon on a 28' boat from '89. Nice option though! You can probably leave the {url} things off the link you put in your post and it will show up properly. Welcome to the site!

Hi Jim,

Tried taking the url tags off, but no luck with the link showing up. Any other suggestions?

Steve
