Can anyone tell me the fuse location for the stepdown pump on my 89 268DA .Just getting at this job on our boat and dont know the location for the fuse for the wire that is supposed to be constant power .I removed the pump because every time I engaged the switch at the helm the breaker would pop . I tested the two power wires at the pump location and have power with no breaker popping on one wire now when the helm switch is in the on position. The other power wire should have constant voltage I think so the float switch can work the pump however I have no power from that wire and cant seem to trace the wire once it enters a loom port side near the stern . I would really like to get this sorted out this year even though we dont use the shower so we have the added security of another pump.and to rinse down the little area where the pump sits . I found about a cup of stinky water there that I assume came from rain water over the year and refrigerator condensation .. .... anyhow I am tring to find the fuse location for that constant hot wire . If I cant I wonder if it is a good idea to run another wire from the fuse box located in the overhead cabinet of the head that is directly in front of the helm... Any help on this will be appreciated , Thanks in advance

Mine did not have a float switch attached to it. Does your pump have a built in float switch, or one that is separate?
Separate float switch in mine 2 brown wires and a black wire in . One off the browns is hot when switch at helm is on and the other brown is never hot so assuming it is supposed to be constant power maybe I am wrong
