454 bravo I
I'm comparing a 1990 Larson 25' San Marion to a 89 25' DA sun dancer. I like the sea ray more and it needs less work throw in the 454 and the ray is clearly my chose.

I guess my real Q is why does the sea ray look so much bigger I mean much bigger longer deeper and taller?
the searay modle # is 250DA0354, are thay the same length?I plan to keep it on a trailer and tow the boat 25 to 40mi to a ramp and am abit concerned my 1/2 ton 2000 extended cab 4x4, 5.3 with the 3.73 rear. is it a little small. ouners manual says 6,400lbs but it sure looks like a lot of boat. I've bin boating in the 18' range for 20 years so I not new to trailering.

The Sea Ray is a big 25 footer for sure, almost 27ft LOA. Great boat...have it surveyed and buy it.

It is alot of boat! The 250 will run nice with the 7.4L/454....an upgrade from the stock 5.7L motor. Your truck will be ok (at maximum or a bit more) but good trailer brakes are very important. Keep your speed on the low side while towing. It should have a Bravo1 outdrive. The Sea Ray also has sharper looking lines to it vs. a plump looking boat, Mike.
