1988 Sundancer 268 fridge options

My Norcold TekII is not working. I'm looking for suggestions as to what to do. I wonder if I could get by with an icebox of some sort. I'm not ruling out another fridge but they cost a lot and don't seem to last very long. Boat is 1988 Searay Sundancer 268. Rough irking is about 18 1/4 x 20 1)2. Thanks for any thoughts.

I am a fan of Nova Kool. Their cross reference guide shows that the replacement for your DE251 is their R2600, available in DC only or AC/DC. Here is the comparison.
