I bought my Sea Ray used and spending alot of time upgrading it. The mystery of the toilet is one issue I am at a loss. A portapotty was installed with the pump out hose attached. This was not the original configuration. There is a macerator pump under the sink and a large discharge hose and a small 3/4 hose that may have been either sea water or fresh. There is also a hole in the floor underneath the portapotty. What was the original configuration and what type of permanent toilet would work?

The original config is a portapotty with vent line and pump out tube going out the side of the boat. Very simple setup.

Thanks so much for the reply, I guess the macerator under the sink was added at one time. Why is there a hole under the porta potti that has water in it?

Not on mine. The porta-potie has a cap on the top side that you remove and pour water into. To fill the bowl, you pump the little bellows thingy.

can you take a pic of the hole you are talking about. it sounds to me like you are talking about the porta-potty fresh water holding tank.
