Hi everyone I have a question about putting a trolling motor on my Seville. I plan on taking the seats out and making a casting deck for the bow.

I have been looking at everyone's sea rays on here and I know that some of you have attached trolling motors to the bow. I would like to know what type of trolling motor you would suggest and most importantly how to attach it to the bow of my boat.

I think I might need to make a custom trolling motor mount that extends over the bow and to the side. Any input would be greatly appreciated

Not hijacking your trolling motor thread here, just switching ends of the boat---Has anyone mounted a trolling motor or even a small outboard on the swim platform for fishing/aux. power purposes? If so, what kind of electric trolling motor--bow mount, transom mount, lbs of thrust, 24V or 36V? Or what HP outboard? And last, how did it work--was the swim platform and bracketry durable enough? Thanks.

Hi! Came across this post and was wondering if you came up with a good solution for mounting a trolling motor to the bow. I also have a 1988 Sea Ray Seville, 20ft. Would like to be able to fish.

Please share any info if you can.
