I've got an 21 foot long Sea Ray Seville Midcabin, and have never been happy with the seats. I'd like to replace them, and was wondering if anyone had some hints or advice. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Well, it really depends on what you're after. Replacing back-to-backs with buckets? Raising the current seats so they're a little higher? Or do you just want to make them look nicer by replacing the vinyl.

By the way, the correct term for your boat is "cuddy", not mid-cabin. Mid-Cabin designates a cruiser-style with both a forward v-berth and a mid-berth under the cockpit.

I have the same problem, it's a pain to drive, and sitting on the back seat is like coming in for a landing on a jet liner.....
My owners manual also calls this boat a "Mid Cabin", I do have a berth under the drivers seat....

FWIW -- I was looking at his and Zeek's boats in the Sea Ray archives and they are indeed referred to as mid-cabins. The model is 21MC Seville.

Thanks for responding to my post, however my boat is a midcabin.

WOW glad you got that cleared up:wow:

any chance you might get around to answering Lazy Daze question about what you were after

Filth - Sorry about the confusion. Before I answered your post, I had looked into the archives to get an idea of what your boat looked like. I looked at a 1981 by accident, not an '88.

Hello all!

I have a question that I am hopeful someone can answer or direct me. I am looking for an OEM bimini top or the original camping enclosure for an 88 SeaRay Seville 21 ft MC. Maybe they never came with one, but when buying the boat used (its in amazing shape!!) I was given what appears to be a partial camper enclosure with vinyl windows and rear panel...Ideas or suggestions welcomed...Thanks!!
