1988 390 Express Fwd A/C

I am new to the forum and to this boat a 390 Express. Need to gain access to the blower motor on the fwd a/c unit which is located underneath the lower bunk in the side state room; however I am unable to locate the position of the blower motor - any help would be appreciated.

The blower motor is on the "side" of the unit closer to the closet in the mid cabin. Impossible to get at without removing the unit from the area under the bunk. If you get the unit out from under the bunk, it is pretty easy to remove. Three or four 1/4" self tapping screws hold the housing to the A/C unit itself. Take off the entire motor and housing assembly to service it. I was able to find a replacement unit on Amazon of all places that is the exact correct motor and housing. It was the least expensive way to purchase. A friend who has a wholesale heating and cooling supply couldn't get it cheaper. I did have to reclock the motor to the housing prior to reinstalling it, but that was easy. I tried to source just the motor and kept running into problems finding the correct one and they were as expensive as the entire motor/housing unit.
